Human × AI Co-Transformation Playbook · Step 05

Design

How should humans, AI and workflow interact?

Adding AI to an old workflow is not transformation. Sometimes the workflow itself has to disappear.

This step is currently taking shape
The playbook is being built the same way it works: step by step.
Rather than publishing a finished framework that pretends the answers are already known, I am developing each step through reflection, experimentation and continuous learning. You can already look inside the thinking here. The full audio experience, downloadable guide and real-work tool will follow.
The question

Where should AI act, where should humans intervene, and where does judgment actually belong?

This is where the psychological and technical systems meet. Work is redesigned around value, data, systems, agents, human judgment, guardrails and escalation — not around the limitations of yesterday's process.

A first look inside

Questions this step will explore

What is the business goal before we touch the workflow?
Which decisions can be automated, augmented or must remain human?
What data, systems, agents and guardrails make the interaction reliable?
What is being created

Try something now

You do not have to wait for the finished page.

Take one recurring workflow and mark every handoff: Human · AI · Human review · Escalation. Where is the current design unclear?
Continue the journey

The spiral is already open.

The AI Leadership Mirror is the first fully available experience with audio and a downloadable reflection guide. You can start there now — or continue exploring the developing playbook step by step.
